things to know

  • Think of obedience as things you want your dog to do. Commands, such as heel, come, place, down, etc., as well as holding those positions.

  • Now think of behavioral as things you want your dog to stop doing. This can include jumping, barking, reactivity, etc.

  • Keep in mind that there’s often overlap between obedience and behavioral training. There are some behavioral tendencies that can be addressed through obedience.

  • The cutest. We can work on socialization, potty-training, crate-training (strongly recommend for puppies), leash walking, and overall manners.
